“I attribute our success in the TCCC program to the hard work and focus of our 42 center employees. In addition, Toyota Motor Sales’ factory training and the ongoing support we receive from our distributor, Southeast Toyota, are world class,” says O’Connor. “We also depend on our business partnerships to help us achieve our goals, and PPG and its MVP program provide us with the ongoing training required to remain competitive in this ever-changing environment. And, of course, the support we receive from Ben’s Paint Supply, our jobber, gives us a valuable advantage in this market.”
“As one of PPG’s more than 9,000 North American waterborne technology customers, Scott’s leadership shows the results that can be achieved when you embrace lean processes and implementation,” said Bill Shaw, PPG director of business development. “Scott embarked on this journey while attending PPG Green Belt Training in the fall of 2010 and has now transformed his operation into the showcase that it is today, and for that we congratulate him.”
Representatives from PPG and Ben’s Paint Supply, a Daytona Beach-based PPG Platinum distributor, will attend the award dinner and present commemorative gifts to all shop personnel.
