Ananian, who has been named the Technician’s Technician by Motor Magazine and known to millions from his nationally-syndicated WOR Radio Network show, has been a featured expert on ABC’s 20/20, FOX Television’s Fox and Friends and CourtTV as well as hosting an auto repair call-in talk show on New York’s WFAS-AM radio and on DIY Network’s nationally-syndicated Classic Car Restoration. Currently, the Car Doctor can be heard nationally on over 70 stations as well as streaming on www.hvradionet.com, http://www.iheart.com/talk/show/214-The-Car-Doctor/ and www.wadk.com. Since 1991, the Car Doctor is “where car owners the world over turn to for their definitive opinion on automotive repair.”
“Although I have been attending the NORTHEAST show for decades, last year was the first time we decided to air our show live from the event,” Ananain says. “The feedback from our listeners was amazing. They were extremely interested in the goings-on of such a huge industry event. We hadn’t done anything like that before so it was a pretty unique experience. That’s why we’re back.”
At NORTHEAST 2015, the Car Doctor, along with KN Filters, will also be awarding a $250 endowment to a deserving automotive trade school student, to be applied towards their automotive education. “NORTHEAST is the perfect location to give back to the industry,” adds Ananian. “It is the one event in this part of the country that puts a huge positive spotlight on our industry. We’re thrilled to be a part of it.”
