The Women’s Industry Network (WIN) is looking for the Faces & Places of the collision repair industry.
The Women’s Industry Network (WIN) is looking for the Faces & Places of the collision repair industry.  WIN is collaborating with the Collision Repair Education Foundation to create an awareness poster to showcase the many roles of women in the industry.  The poster will be distributed to over 1,100 high school and college collision school programs across the country this fall.

Businesses and individuals in the industry are invited to submit creative photos of the unique women in their workforce and the roles they perform.  Winners will be selected by committee based on photo quality, creativity and representation of the role performed.

WIN is offering a drawing for a free 2014 WIN Educational Conference registration, valued at over $400, as an added incentive. For every photo submission, one contest entry will be given to the person submitting the nomination.  In addition, every business that makes a photo submission will receive a free poster.

“WIN’s mission is to enhance the collision repair industry and the role of women within it.  With this poster, we hope to illustrate to female students all the roles and paths open to them in the collision repair industry.  We are thrilled to work with the Collision Repair Education Foundation on this exciting new awareness campaign,” stated Ruth Weniger, chair of WIN’s communications committee.

“The Collision Repair Education Foundation is excited to partner with WIN on this project to showcase women within the industry to high school and college collision students.  Regardless of the industry segment, female collision students will see that there are many opportunities for a successful career path,” noted Director of Grant Programs, Melissa Marscin.
