The collision industry is invited to participate in the upcoming “2014 Annual North Texas Event – Roadmap: Collision Industry & Careers Expo” event taking place in Dallas on Saturday, August 16th. The event is focused on elevating awareness for careers in the collision industry by convening marketplace leaders who will showcase today’s dynamic careers available to the next generation of collision industry professionals.  Funds raised from this event will benefit the Collision Repair Education Foundation and activities will include an industry trade show, celebrity appearances, National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides vehicle presentation, silent auction/raffle table, product demonstrations, and industry career awareness opportunities for local high school and college collision students.

Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive Director Clark Plucinski noted, “The Collision Industry offers incredible opportunities for skilled individuals who are willing to work hard and are seeking a rewarding career.  Our industry has an exploding demand for talent and we must be proactive about attracting the best and brightest in order to keep pace with industry growth.  Therefore, I would like to extend an open invitation to all industry members and interested parties to join us this August and take advantage of this special opportunity. We will be bringing together both current and future industry members on a day of raising support and career awareness.”
