Autopromotec 2015 concluded its first day of AutopromotecEDU with the traditional GiPA Excellence Awards, organized by GiPA Italia and this year in its 13th edition. The GiPA Awards represent an important acknowledgement, awarded to the individuals or companies that have particularly distinguished themselves over the last 24 months in car aftersales.

For the last 6 years these have logically been presented within the context of the Bologna trade fair.
There are 11 GiPA Excellence Awards for 2015, divided into 7 different categories: OES Network Satisfaction, in General Network and Premium Network; Communication Strategy for IAM and OES; IAM Development Strategy of Components Dealers, Distribution and Manufacturing Chain; Environmentally Friendly; Commercial Dynamism; Coup de Coeur; and finally a Press Award.

The GiPA Awards reflect the company's vast experience in market research focused on the automotive sector that is acknowledged as a world benchmark. With the exception of the Coup de Coeur and the Press Award, all the assessments are based on quantitative research conducted by GiPA and constantly updated in line with the natural evolution of the sector.

The OES Network Satisfaction was awarded using the GiPA ATO (Annual Trends Observatory) studies for 2014 and 2015 conducted on Italian motorists, (6000 face to face interviews, proportional method) that analyse the satisfaction expressed after a trip to a workshop for vehicle care and maintenance.
The awards for Communication Strategy, IAM and OES, IAM Development Strategy, Environmentally Friendly and Commercial Dynamism are instead the outcome of a dedicated CAWI investigation, with an internet survey of 10,000 car repair and distribution professionals.
The Coup de Coeur is a prize awarded by the GiPA committee in recognition of individuals, initiatives, or projects in the aftermarket sector that particularly stand out for their winning ideas and for opening new growth areas in the sector.
Finally, the Press Award is an acknowledgement of figures who particularly distinguished themselves over the last two years for the profile that they managed to achieve for their company or personal project.
