Maaco is based in King of Prussia, Pa. The 23 franchises in the 425-store chain¹s biggest region will lead the way at Maaco¹s third annual golf outing on behalf of CMN¹s work at the Children¹s Hospital of Philadelphia. The money will be used to give children the attention they need regardless of insurance coverage.

The late Anthony A. Martino founded Maaco in 1972 with a store in Wilmington, Del. The Philadelphia franchising legend had previously founded and sold the AAMCO Transmission franchise chain. Maaco became part of Driven Brands in 2008. Meineke Car Care centers, also part of Driven Brands, have also supported CMN for several years.

Maaco employees in King of Prussia have been raising money all year through car washes and other events. Corporate sponsors of the golf outing include DuPont, PPG and Sherwin-Williams.

At two previous annual tourneys for CMN, Maaco President Lapps presented checks for $25,000 and $50,000. Maaco will again double the previous year¹s total to present the check for $100,000 this year.
