Cooks Collision Centers, a Roseville, California-based operator of high-quality, high performance collision repair facilities in Sacramento, the San Francisco Bay Area and Southern California, has acquired Oakland Auto Body’stwo locations in Oakland, California.

“We are honored to have Oakland Auto Body join the Cooks Team. They have been a respected collision repair provider in the Oakland area for more than 50 years. As a family owned and operated business, their values and culture are perfectly aligned with our own,” said Rick Wood, who owns Cooks Collision Centers with his brother, Rick Wood. “We are especially pleased that Ron Vincenzi, the company’s owner and a respected leader in the collision industry, has agreed to stay on and work with us as we continue our growth strategy.”

Said Ron Vincenzi, “I have known the Wood family since the 1970’s when Cooks was owned and operated by Bob Wood.  I have enjoyed a growing personal and professional relationship with Bob’s sons Rick and Don since they took over the business 15 years ago. Our team, which includes my brother Alex, and son Dan, is excited about the opportunity to work with the Wood family and Cooks Collision. “

With this acquisition, Cooks now operates 36 locations. Cooks Collision is the largest independently owned and operated collision repair organization in California, and the largest family owned repairer in the country.

Cooks continues to seek quality companies for acquisition. Interested owners are encouraged to contact Rick Wood directly at (702) 408-7627 or [email protected].
