In January, the Collision Industry Foundation (CIF) held its 4th Annual Gala Fundraiser in Palm Springs, Calif., and raised an unprecedented $32,000.
Approximately 100 people from the industry attended the event, hosted at the Lulu California Bistro. Attendees were able to participate in a raffle and silent auction featuring many donated items including high-end electronics and an Indy Race Car Package.
The major focus of the foundation's support has been the Collision Industry Relief Fund. The fund helps collision repair professionals who have lost their livelihoods from a natural disaster or other catastrophe.
This event was the foundation's most successful event yet. Cheryl Boswell, CIF's Treasurer said, "We could not have done this without the help of those who donated silent auction items and sponsored the event. We are excited about the momentum we are building and being able to help more collision professionals in the future."
CIF's vision is to bring awareness and emergency relief to Collision Repair Professionals. If you know of someone in need, please direct them to the Collision Industry Foundation.
