AudaVIN utilizes vehicle identification number (VIN) data to give insurance claim representatives, appraisers and collision repair estimators complete vehicle-specific information – as recorded by manufacturers on the production line. The latest release of the software displays everything from exterior paint and interior trim information, to the vehicle’s make, model, edition, production date, standard equipment, factory-installed options, and engine and transmission details.

AudaVIN is designed to reduce inspection time, provide more accurate damage costs and total loss valuations, and allow improvements in first call settlement rates.

“Extending our vehicle coverage with the addition of a market leader such as Porsche marks a major milestone for AudaVIN, which gives our insurance and collision repair partners a stronger competitive edge by making for a faster, more efficient claims settlement process,” said Coleman Conroy, Vice President of Strategic Accounts, Audatex North America. “By quickly delivering the most accurate selections for options and packages, particularly with today’s more complex luxury vehicles, AudaVIN leads to time savings and better peace of mind for vehicle owners, and more profit and success for our partners and customers.”

AudaVIN addresses consumers’ top concerns regarding errors made during the claims settlement process by uncovering options and packages that, if overlooked, can reduce a vehicle’s perceived actual cash value (ACV) by hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

“With better insight into vehicle-specific information, appraisers and estimators won’t overlook these important details,” said Conroy. “They can leverage AudaVIN to make more informed ACV decisions while also expediting cycle time and achieving higher levels of customer service and satisfaction.”

AudaVIN supports more than 25 brands globally including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Mini, Smart, Volkswagen, Volvo, Audi and now Porsche, with new OEM partners to be added later this year. The software offers full integration with estimating and total loss solutions from Audatex.
